Dr Katherine Geddes

Dr Katherine Geddes is a Melbourne-based qualified Medical Oncologist servicing Melbourne’s South East, Bayside and Mornington Peninsula. 

Dr Geddes graduated from Monash University Medicine in 2005. She completed her Basic Physician Training with Monash Health and Medical Oncology training at Peninsula Health, St Vincent’s Hospital and Monash Health. She has a keen interest in Clinical Research and is currently undertaking a research higher degree with The University of Melbourne and St Vincent’s Hospital. Her research is focused on the clinical impact of altered body composition in gastric and oesophageal cancers. 

Dr Geddes has a clinical interest in treating breast cancer and upper & lower gastrointestinal cancers. 

She is a member of Medical Oncology Group of Australia, American Society of Clinical Oncology, European Society of Medical Oncology, Australasian Gastrointestinal Trials Group and ANZ Breast Cancer Trials Group.

Dr Geddes is currently available for private consultation at her rooms at Southern Breast Oncology in Bentleigh East, The Bays and Beleura Private Hospitals in Mornington.  Dr Geddes also treats patients at Holmesglen Private Hospital in Moorabbin, Peninsula Private Hospital in Langwarrin, and she has an Honorary appointment with St Vincent’s Hospital.
