Referrals

GP and Doctor Referrals

We are able to accept referrals through e-referral, email, fax, mail and in person.

e-Referral

We support and encourage electonic referrals to minimise delays for patients and referring Doctors. 

The e-referral details for all Southern Breast Oncology specialists and Surgeons are available via the ReferralNet, Promedicus, Health Link, Connecting Care and Argus networks and through your Clinical or Practice management software or your transcription services.

Email

Letters of referral can be emailed to admin@sboncology.com.au.  We would encourage referrals be attached as PDF documents.  All email addresses at Southern Breast Oncology recieve secure email  (TLSv1.2) by default. 

Phone or Fax

Referrals can be faxed to 03 9575 5110.  For general referrals or urgent inquiries call 03 9575 5100.

We aim to see new patients within a few days of referral.  However for urgent situations please call reception or ask to speak directly to a consultant.
