Dr Eugenia Ip

Dr Eugenia Ip is a Specialist breast surgeon who graduated from the University of New South Wales in 2008.  She was awarded her fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2018 after completing her general surgical training at St Vincent’s Hospital (Sydney).  She completed extensive training locally and overseas in the management of breast diseases and oncoplastic breast surgical techniques, with Breast Surgeons Australia and New Zealand accredited training (Eastern Health and Royal Brisbane & Women’s Hospital) and clinical experience in a world-renowned Specialist Breast Cancer Centre in Paris.  

She strives to provide exceptional care to her patients.  Her clinical expertise in managing breast diseases has been furthered with completion of a Master of Surgery, Master of Public Health and Graduate Certificate in Advanced Surgery (Breast Surgery).  She has also obtained certification by the Australasian Society for Ultrasound in Medicine to perform breast ultrasounds and biopsies. 

Her values of surgical education and clinical governance are reflected in her clinical practice and other professional endeavours.  She is a Senior Adjunct Lecturer (Monash University), Prevocational Supervisor (Monash Health), Member of the Education Committee (BreastSurgANZ), Member of the General Surgery Education and Training Evaluation Committee (General Surgeons Australia) and Member of the Victorian State Committee (Royal Australasian College of Surgeons).
